And the Medal goes to…

Happy Easter from Lunar Rooster! This week we’re excited to share something we have been working on recently — our new medals! Ranging from your classic multikills to our special kill style medals, we plan to make sure that your quick shooting and grappling skills will be appropriately recognised.

Multikills and Design

The basic plan with the medal art is to make sure it is clear what you have just earned while emphasising how impressive it was through colour and design. We have kept a consistent style across our medal ‘categories,’ which includes, Multikills, Kill Streaks, Kill Style, and Utility. For instance, our multikills displayed above each follow the same ‘roman numeral on a horseshoe with stars’ design with escalating flourishes and materials. The other categories will each follow a similar style, such as the utility medals which use a star shape as a background.

The multikills cap at 5, after which you will earn the fabled “Fish in a Barrel” medal. This is truly the rarest of the fishes, as we honestly can’t see anybody actually earning this thing. Consider that a challenge!

More Medals

Above you will see some more of our medals that can be earned while playing and dominating in Sky Noon. The first medal is called “Rope Jockey,” which fits neatly into our ‘Kill Style’ category, and is given for eliminating an opponent while grappling directly to them. Send them to their doom while chasing with your grapple attached to them, to ensure that they stay down! Consider that a little secret tip for you as thanks for reading our blogs.

Future Medals

As we move forward, we plan to expand on this system, adding more to each of our categories. While adding ones you may recognise, such as first elimination of the match or ending an enemy streak, we hope to add others that fit more uniquely with our combat style much like the Rope Jockey medal. If you have any ideas for new medals, then feel free to mention them!

See you again next week!
